Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan, who I believe is the reason for the popularity of Hindolam especially Saamajavaragamana is no more.
A colossus who stood astride the twin worlds of classical and film music, and also the twin worlds of being an artist and an able organizer/administrator of several music institutes and associations. His contribution is not only in terms of the variety of music he was able to bring to the people but also the variety of people he brought to music.

Wow, I had no idea he had passed away. He's a favourite at home. Will truly be missed.
